The School of darśana...
In ancient Indian times, darśana was explained to encompass all thought. Translated literally, darśana means 'to see' or 'a way of seeing'. In this 'school' lives yoga.
A great Indian sage, Patañjali, saw such powerful influences through yoga. Influences that could guide you towards a state of pure joy & contentment, a life of true purpose. So he created a brief 'guidebook' of 196 sutras to share the tools yoga had to offer. This 'guidebook' is known as Patañjali’s Yogasūtra. Studying Patañjali’s Yogasūtra shows you yoga as a concept, as a tool to support living your most authentic life.

COURSE 1: Nurturing Your Practice
The experience of yoga is practiced in every moment of your life. You see this in your interactionswith others, how you take in every experience & how these moments linger with you.
In Course 1 of the Integration of the YogaSūtras, Patañjali guides you through yoga as a practice of experience. This course will take you through the steps to shift your perspective & how you digest all experiences.
This course will run appoximately 16-18 months. During this time you will:
interpret each line of Chapter 2 (word-for-word)
see real life examples of each lesson
experience this context in your regular day
have a platform to share & express the experiences
& show you all the tools to start living a life of yoga.

Chase began his journey with philosophy as a student at Colgate University. His thesis paper was on Patañjali’s YogaSūtra. During his time at Colgate, he was given the opportunity to study abroad with Mr. TKV Desikachar. This opportunity opened an incredible new perspective of life & all of the experiences churning within.
Chase has studied yoga philosophy in great depth as a personal student of Mr. TKV Desikachar for over 20 yrs. He has established a rather candid & open communication style for translating Patanjali’s YogaSūtra in a way that is relatable to every day life.
